The team is supported by our excellent non-contentious Construction team within the firm. The Construction team forms an intrinsic part of the wider Property Group and provides essential support on development financing matters to the Real Estate Finance team as well as terms of appointment of professionals, and warranty and construction insurance issues.
We have wide experience of development transactions for commercial, residential and mixed-use properties. We advise clients on developments from small projects up to schemes involving several hundred units.
Edwin Coe has an excellent reputation for private client, and personal tax and trust related work, helping the Real Estate Finance team develop significant expertise in working with High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth borrower clients and for lenders (private client banks and wealth teams within the larger banks) financing such clients.
This work has included the acquisition (and redevelopment) of substantial residential real estate assets in Central London and elsewhere. As a consequence, the firm has a significant expertise in dealing with the financing of prime residential property in Central London and elsewhere within the Greater London area, as well as in other prime areas of the UK. This includes an understanding of the issues that can be encountered in connection with high value properties in these particular locations.
