Having joined Edwin Coe LLP as a trainee in September 2011, Brenna qualified into the Property and Construction teams in September 2013. Since qualification, Brenna has dealt with a wide range of both real estate and construction matters.

Brenna specialises in construction law, advising individuals and companies from a wide array of sectors on various aspects of both non-contentious and contentious construction matters. Brenna is regularly instructed by employers, funders, developers and consultants advising on and drafting all manner of construction documentation including building contracts, appointments, guarantees, bonds, warranties, development agreements, fit-out contracts and agreements for lease.

Brenna is also experienced in acting for individuals, companies, insolvency practitioners and charities in relation to various aspects of real estate law including residential and commercial property acquisitions and disposals, and real estate finance.

Prior to transitioning into the legal sector, Brenna spent approximately 18 years working in the IT industry. Brenna obtained a distinction in both the GDL and LPC from the University of Hertfordshire, winning the Judge’s Prize for Excellent Performance in 2010 and the HRJ Law Prize for Excellent Performance in 2011. In 2012, she attained a distinction in her LLM in Legal Practice. Brenna also holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Science from the University of Victoria, BC Canada with the equivalent of the UK 1st, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Liverpool with distinction. Brenna is currently undertaking an MSc in Construction Law & Dispute Resolution at Kings College London.
