International Sportsperson Visa Applications

An elite sportsperson who is considered to be the highest of their sport on an international basis is able to come to the United Kingdom on an International sportsperson visa.

This visa route is also open for qualified sports coaches to accompany their elite sportspersons in the UK. Before applying under this category, an applicant must have a sport’s governing body endorsement and that the employment that will take place in the UK will develop your sport at the uppermost possible level.

The International sportsperson visa is available for a period of 12 months and longer. Different eligibility requirements, including the English language requirement, must be met depending on the length of time requested.
