Hetal is a Partner within the Tax team. She is a qualified Chartered Tax Advisor and has many years of experience assisting clients with various different forms of HMRC dispute (from regularisation to enquiry), providing tax advice to HNW families with multi jurisdictional asset bases and assisting with their tax compliance in the UK.
Hetal has substantial experience in dealing with HMRC investigations and disclosures. She has prepared, submitted and negotiated the settlement of hundreds of cases via various voluntary disclosure facilities and HMRC enquiries.
Hetal’s technical skills and experience allow her to identify tax-efficient planning opportunities for clients, particularly UK resident non domiciled clients and non resident non domiciled clients with UK assets, or beneficiaries of their estate who are UK resident. Hetal has significant experience advising global non resident Indian families, as well as Indian resident families with exposure to the UK. She has a strong network of local advisors in India whom she works closely with to look after the wide requirements of her client base.
She takes time to get to know clients, their needs and objectives, and ensures they receive high-quality, tailored advice. Clients appreciate her ability to explain complex issues with clarity and she is frequently introduced to clients via offshore financial institutions.
