Following the Royal Assent to the Consumer Rights Act on 26 March 2015, the UK’s first class action regime is now law and is expected to come into force in October of this year.
The British Institute of International and Comparative Law are organising an evening seminar, sponsored by Edwin Coe, which gives a reaction to the passage of the Act from an expert panel which includes David Greene, Senior Partner at Edwin Coe. The seminar will look forward to how the system is likely to develop, using experience in other class action jurisdictions as a guide.
