CORLA is an association of law firms and legal professionals that promotes reform and best practice to improve access to justice for claimants by way of collective redress. Edwin Coe is delighted to be one of the six founder firms, and our Senior Partner David Greene is the founding Co-President.
CORLA will work to develop a greater understanding of the challenges groups of claimants face when seeking access to the justice process. CORLA believes that the further development and expansion of collective redress in the UK is essential to the interests of justice.
CORLA seeks to improve the existing structures for collective redress and examine routes to expand the specific regime for opt-out redress, currently applicable only to competition law, to additional areas of UK law.
CORLA constantly looks to other jurisdictions to ensure that the UK is aware of international best practice, and promotes reforms that will ensure the UK’s collective redress regime sets the highest global standards.
CORLA’s committee comprises of experienced legal professionals who are passionate about promoting reforms that improve access to justice for claimants through collective redress.
