This morning, 29 November 2018, the Home Office has released the data for Quarter 3 (2018) Investor Visa applications.

The analysis by Shard Capital is that the uncertainty with Brexit has not had any impact on Investor Visa applicants, which has shown a rise from 92 applicants in Quarter 2 to now 96 in Quarter 3 of 2018.

Chinese applicants remain the largest by number (33). The number of Russian applicants has dramatically fallen from 13 in Q2 to only 2 in Q3. Elsewhere preliminary analysis of the data reveals an increasing number of applicants from Hong Kong, 9 against a previous figure of 4, alongside 5 from both India and Turkey.
