Edwin Coe is delighted to announce that it advised the shareholders of Della AI Ltd on its sale to Wolters Kluwer, a global provider of professional information, software solutions and services.
Della AI is a provider of leading artificial intelligence technology based on advanced natural language processing. Their innovative technology allows legal professionals to review contracts in multiple languages by simply asking questions. The company was founded in 2018 and now employs 16 professionals based in London and Paris.
Edwin Coe’s cross practice team on this transaction was led by Corporate Partner Jamal Saleh, working alongside Henry Wright (Corporate Associate) and Katie Braddell (Trainee), with contributions from Ali Zaidi (Restructuring & Insolvency), Linky Trott (Employment) and Nick Phillips and Carlos Sharrock (Intellectual Property).
Jamal commented “I’m delighted that we have successfully completed this transaction to an end of year deadline, and would like to thank the team for their hard work during the festive period. This transaction further demonstrates our knowledge and expertise in the tech M&A sector. I wish the teams at Della AI and Wolters Kluwer every success in their plans to continue the development of category leading products for the corporate legal market.”
Della CEO and co-founder Christophe Frèrebeau added: “We were pleased to have had Edwin Coe by our side to facilitate a smooth and efficient sale process. The broad experience of Jamal Saleh, in particular, was ideally positioned to support us in this exciting step in Della’s journey.”
