Edwin Coe enhances Private Capital and Corporate offering with new Financial Regulation and Banking & Finance teams

London, February 19, 2025 – Leading independent law firm Edwin Coe is thrilled to announce the addition of two leading finance specialists from Memery Crystal and Rosenblatt (both part of formerly AIM quoted RBG Holdings plc), significantly boosting its capabilities in advising private capital and corporate clients.

David Sachs, a seasoned finance lawyer with over 25 years of experience, joins Edwin Coe to lead the Banking & Finance team. David has a distinguished track record of representing lenders, borrowers, private equity sponsors, and financial advisers in various complex transactions, including leveraged management buy-outs, public to private takeovers, real estate and development financing, and debt financings.

We are also delighted that Daniel Tunkel, the former Head of Financial Regulation at Memery Crystal, one of the leading experts in mid-market UK financial regulation, is also joining the firm. Daniel’s considerable experience in financial regulation assists clients across the financial markets in relation to being or becoming regulated in the UK or, where applicable, avoiding the need to do so.  This field has grown massively in recent years, as the jurisdiction of the FCA has been progressively broadened.  He also advises on the structuring and promotion of UK and offshore private investment funds, and of course, is increasingly active in advice to the developing cryptoasset market.
