London law firm Edwin Coe has achieved a 100% trainee retention rate for its September 2026 qualifying cohort, with all six trainees accepting permanent solicitor positions at the firm.

The six newly qualified solicitors will take up roles across five of Edwin Coe’s practice areas from 1 September 2026.

Timi Kuye will join the Real Estate team, while Jasmine Sutton and Rinu Mathew will qualify into Insurance Disputes. Madeleine Frary will join Contentious Trusts and Estates, Christina Cheung will qualify into Employment, and Rebecca Harnby will join the Corporate team.

All six positions are permanent and based at Edwin Coe’s London office. The 100% retention rate reflects Edwin Coe’s commitment to investing in its people and developing talent within the firm. Many lawyers who began their careers as trainees at Edwin Coe remain with the firm today, progressing through different levels of seniority.

Alison Broadberry, Managing Partner at Edwin Coe, said “We are delighted that all six of our qualifying trainees have chosen to continue their careers with Edwin Coe. We are committed to investing in our people and, wherever possible, giving those who start their careers with us the opportunity to develop and progress within the firm. “Our distinctive approach is built around three values, being Collaborative, Committed and Connected. We want those values to shape people’s experience of working here throughout their careers, from their first days as trainees onwards. “The fact that many of our former trainees are still with Edwin Coe at all levels of the firm is something we are very proud of. Timi, Jasmine, Rinu, Madeleine, Christina and Rebecca have each made a valuable contribution during their training contracts, and we look forward to seeing what they achieve in this next stage of their careers.”

The newly qualified solicitors will begin their new roles on 1 September 2026.
