Edwin Coe advises VitalHub on the acquisition of UK health-tech business BookWise Solutions Limited
Edwin Coe is pleased to announce that it advised its TSX Venture Exchange traded client, VitalHub Corporation on its acquisition of BookWise Solutions Limited for a purchase price of £3.1m from its shareholders.
Our team was led by Edwin Coe’s Head of Corporate Russel Shear, alongside Associate, Henry Wright. Russel commented “We’re delighted to be able to assist VitalHub on the completion of another acquisition, the eighth such transaction on which we have worked together successfully.”
BookWise offers specialist scheduling software for healthcare and corporate organisations ranging from general room booking software to more specialist scheduling systems. Formed in 2010, and based in Burton-on-Trent, BookWise supports 150+ healthcare organizations throughout the United Kingdom and Australia.
Edwin Coe has advised publicly traded VitalHub on its expansion plans in the UK health technology market for several years. VitalHub is based in Toronto, Canada, with an offshore innovation hub in Sri Lanka which develops and supports mission-critical information systems in the social service, mental health, long term care, community health service, home health and hospital sectors. It has a two-pronged growth strategy, targeting organic growth opportunities within its product suite, and pursuing an aggressive M&A plan.
