Edwin Coe advises VitalHub on the acquisition of UK health-tech business Hicom Technology Limited
Edwin Coe is pleased to announce that it advised long term client VitalHub Corporation on its acquisition, via one of its UK subsidiaries, of Surrey-based Hicom Technology Limited.
Hicom has been a developer of software that automates healthcare and business processes for the past twenty years. Their software supports a wide range of healthcare-centred processes including: patient and clinical care; clinical research; workforce management; recruitment and selection; learning and development; compliance management; and health & safety.
Edwin Coe has advised VitalHub on its expansion plans in the UK health technology market for several years. VitalHub is based in Toronto, Canada, with an offshore innovation hub in Sri Lanka which develops and supports mission-critical information systems in the social service, mental health, long term care, community health service, home health and hospital sectors. It has a two-pronged growth strategy, targeting organic growth opportunities within its product suite, and pursuing an aggressive M&A plan.
