Edwin Coe is delighted to announce that Property Partner, Joanne McIvor has been appointed the Women in Property’s South East Chair for 2022-23.

Joanne and a number of other members of our Property & Construction teams have been actively involved in Women in Property for several years, arranging and attending events. Joanne commented “To achieve diversity in an organisation, you have first to be inclusive. This has been the Women in Property ethos since its inception back in 1987 and our work continues with this at our core. Now, the conversation is less about gender specifically and has a greater focus on inclusion. We must continue to break through the barriers, the preconceived ideas that still make it difficult for many people to succeed, whether because of gender, race, age, disability or social mobility.

Head of Property, Stephen Brower commented: “I am delighted that Joanne is able to take a leading role within Women in Property and its work in promoting diversity within the sector.

Women in Property is a national influencing and networking organisation which creates opportunities, expands knowledge and inspires change for women working in the property and construction industry. They actively seek an industry that is balanced, diverse and inclusive, and encourage an exchange of ideas and expertise through their extensive schedule of best practice workshops, site visits, key note talks and social events. Edwin Coe regularly hosts events and seminars in association with Women in Property.
