Edwin Coe to Host Two Events as part of London International Disputes Week 2026
We are pleased to confirm our participation in London International Disputes Week (LIDW) 2026 as a Member Host, reflecting our continued commitment to the international disputes community.
LIDW is a leading global forum bringing together lawyers, businesses, policymakers and dispute resolution specialists. Taking place from 1-5 June, the week explores the future of international dispute resolution, looking at developments across litigation, arbitration and mediation.
LIDW provides an important platform for Edwin Coe as a London firm with international reach. With London recognised as a global hub for the resolution of international disputes, the programme offers a valuable opportunity to share our expertise and further strengthen our international network.
On 3 and 4 June, we will host two panel sessions at our Lincoln’s Inn offices, delivered in collaboration with leading barristers’ chambers.

Panel 2: Arbitration and Inter‑Generational Disputes – The Reality and How It Works in Practice

Time: 11:30–13:00, followed by networking from 12:30–13:00
Location: Edwin Coe, 2 Stone Buildings, Lincoln’s Inn
Hosted by Edwin Coe, 4–5 Gray’s Inn Square
An interactive discussion from senior practitioners, with wide experience across a range of jurisdictions, looking at the evolving issue of how arbitration supports intergenerational disputes. Traditionally, trust arbitrations were not seen as a means of resolving of such disputes. Decisions such as, but not limited to, Grosskopf v Grosskopf [2024] EWHC 291 (ch) and Gabriele Volpi v Delanson Servies Ltd & Matteo, Simone & Isabella Volpi [2025] have started to reset the position in this area of law. The panel looks at the state of the law as of mid-2026 and considers how it might develop. Our panel provides depth and breadth of experience in both trust disputes and arbitration, with speakers from London, Dublin and the British Virgin Islands.
Speakers
- Lauren Fullerton, Barrister, 4–5 Gray’s Inn Square
- Shams Rahman, Partner and Head of Contentious Trusts and Estates, Edwin Coe
- Alex Shirtcliff, Partner and Head of Commercial Disputes, Edwin Coe

- Graham Kenny, Solicitor Advocate, Graham Kenny Solicitors
