Two Edwin Coe Tax team members make Top 35 Under 35 2015

awards

Edwin Coe is delighted to announce that two of its Tax team have been named in the eprivateclient Top 35 Under 35 for 2015.

Tax Partner, Sean Bannister and Tax Senior Associate, Hetal Sanghvi, are among the 70 men and women to have received the accolade.

The Top 35 Under 35 is designed to identify, recognise, introduce and promote the rising stars of the private client professions and is the definitive annual list of young private client practitioners.

The process involved nominations and feedback from clients globally and from the UK and UK offshore (Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man) industry for young and upcoming stars within the private client advisory professions, be they lawyers, accountants, trustees or any other professional intermediary.

Head of Tax, Frank Strachan, commented “We are delighted that two members of the Edwin Coe Tax team have been recognised for their hard work and commitment not only to Edwin Coe and our clients but also to the Private Client and Tax industry. It is particularly pleasing that one of the areas the judging panel placed strong emphasis on was the feedback from clients”.

Sean’s client offering is focussed principally on advising high-net worth entrepreneurs, companies and trustees with multi-jurisdictional issues. He has also worked on a number of serious fraud enquiries for both individuals and companies. One nominator said of Sean “Astute, approachable and professional, Sean will go on to be recognised as one of the ‘go to persons’ for tax matters in the UK”.

Hetal has substantial experience in dealing with HMRC investigations, offshore disclosures and providing tax advice to private clients, and much of her work has a multi-jurisdictional aspect. One nominator described her as an “exceptional tax adviser who has real empathy” and “one to watch as she progresses”.
