At a private view on 5th March, Professor Anita Taylor, Dean of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design at the University of Dundee, judged the artwork on display at The Law Society’s 61st Art Group Exhibition, and awarded (amongst others) the Edwin Coe LLP prize for ‘Best Work on Paper in any medium’. The award winner was Ruth Munby with her cyano print ‘We Are Connected’ (left). Congratulations to Ruth.
The Law Society’s Art Group is a small membership group, first set up in 1959, of practising or retired solicitors, staff of solicitors’ firms and to solicitors’ close family members, with an interest in or appreciation for art. Their annual exhibition is usually held in the Reading Room at The Law Society’s offices in Chancery Lane, but was held virtually for the first time this year.
You can view the exhibition on The Law Society’s website.
The exhibition e-catalogue (Ruth Munby’s exhibit is no. 69).
