Tim Nash
Partner and Chief Executive
As Chief Executive at Edwin Coe, my goal is to ensure that the firm meets clients’ expectations. This goal is met by hiring and retaining skilled and motivated lawyers and staff, and ensuring the firm’s systems and processes are constantly reviewed to allow them to deliver top quality service.
I joined the firm in 2008. Since then, the firm has more than doubled its turnover while headcount has grown to over 180 partners and staff.
As the firm’s compliance officer for finance and administration, I am also responsible for designing and maintaining many of the risk and compliance processes for the firm.
Prior to joining Edwin Coe, I was Group Financial Controller at Eversheds, responsible for statutory and management reporting, working closely with the directors of the various support departments.
My career started with Electronic Data Systems in their International Finance team and I later lead the finance team supporting their CADCAM division in France, I further deepened my commercial experience by joining Nortel, also in France. After moving back to the UK in 1996 with Price Waterhouse (later PwC), I then joined Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s global litigation group as Business Support Manager, followed by a short stint at Clifford Chance as Head of Financial Operations.
