Gurpreet joined the Private Client team as an Associate in April 2023 from KPMG LLP.
She advises a wide range of individuals and families on the management of their personal affairs and the preservation and transition of family wealth. This includes the preparation of Wills and Letters of Wishes, the creation of Trusts and advising clients on their cross-border succession planning.
Gurpreet also has experience in advising clients on mental capacity issues and Lasting Powers of Attorneys and the recognition of Powers of Attorney in international jurisdictions.
She also undertakes probate and estate administration and advises personal representatives, trustees and beneficiaries in connection with UK estates and trusts.
Gurpreet is a STEP Affiliate Member and is undertaking the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates. She qualified as a solicitor in 2020.
- Advising clients and their families in relation to generational wealth planning and preparing Wills and Letters of Wishes and Trusts
- Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney and the consideration of cross-jurisdictional issues
- Assisting executors on the day-to-day administration of estates, including valuing and securing assets and reporting inheritance tax to HMRC
- Advising high-net-worth individuals on their cross-border succession planning and how international succession laws affect their estates and identifying potential conflicts of law.
