David Sachs

David joined Edwin Coe as Head of its Banking and Finance team in February 2025. David has a broad range of experience advising lenders and borrowers and other stakeholders on all kinds of debt finance transactions and deal sizes, and has particular experience in corporate lending and restructurings, real estate finance and private debt. He regularly advises on the structuring of finance transactions, the drafting and negotiation of loan agreements, guarantee and security documents, intercreditor arrangements and all related agreements. David is a versatile, commercial and pragmatic lawyer and his skilled, talented team ensures matters run smoothly and successfully.

Clients include investment banks and other lenders, private equity firms, shareholders, investors and management teams, as well as corporate and individual borrowers across the real estate, financial services, professional services, energy and infrastructure and insurance and technology sectors. David also advises litigation funders on their funding documentation. He enjoys working with on all types of financing arrangements, establishing long-term client relationships and delivering an outstanding client service to help bring transactions to a successful close.
