Christopher Berry

Christopher became a Partner in the firm in 1973 and from 2003 to 2013 he was the firm’s Senior and Managing Partner.

He is now a Consultant to the firm, carrying a reduced workload and sitting as an Arbitrator, often nominated to act by the President of the Law Society.

When in full time practice, Christopher was a licensed Insolvency Practitioner and for many years he sat as a Crown Court and County Court Recorder, and on the Disciplinary and Regulatory Committees of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

He is regularly consulted in relation to specialist questions arising in relation to Bankruptcy, Directors personal liability issues and commercial litigation generally.

Christopher has also written a number of books, in particular “Personal Insolvency: Law & Practice (Butterworths) 3 editions”, “Vol. 3 (2) Encyclopaedia of Forms & Precedents”, “Vol. 7 Atkins Court Forms (Bankruptcy)”, “Vol. 10 Atkins Court Forms (Winding Up)” and numerous articles.
