Edwin Coe advises group of HNWs on acquisition of significant stake in More Acquisitions plc
Edwin Coe is delighted to announce that it has advised the investors in a fundraising for London-based More Acquisitions PLC. The transaction raised £312,240 through the issue of 31.2 million shares at a price of 1 pence each. Proceeds from the fundraise will be used for general working capital requirements and to ensure it maintains sufficient funds for the anticipated costs of any future acquisition.
More Acquisitions also announced the appointment of real estate specialist Neil Sinclair as Executive Chairman and entrepreneur, former owner of IRG plc and Stanley Davis Group, Stanley Davis as a non-executive director of the company. Both were previously co-founders of the London Stock Exchange listed REIT Palace Capital PLC.
More Acquisitions Plc is a London Stock Exchange listed investment company whose focus was on investing and developing businesses which are advancing the energy sector’s shift from fossil-based systems to renewable sources, such as wind and solar and lithium-ion batteries. It will now be focusing on targets in the real estate sector.
Neil Sinclair said “Daniel and his team were absolutely first class and we look forward to working with them as we seek a suitable Reverse Takeover.”
Edwin Coe’s team was led by Daniel Bellau (Corporate Partner) together with Henry Wright (Corporate Associate). Daniel commented, “I am delighted to have had the opportunity to advise Neil and Stanley again, having worked on many deals with them over the last 15 years. I’d also like to congratulate More Acquisitions on their successful fundraising and look forward to supporting them in their future success in developing growth plans for their business.”
