Commercial Services

Clarity in business. Confidence in progress.

We provide solution-focused legal support for complex commercial and intellectual property matters – translating business priorities into agreements that are clear, practical and commercially sound.

Our commercial and IP specialists advise on and negotiate a wide range of transactions, ensuring that contracts not only protect our clients’ interests but also enable growth and innovation.

As an independent London firm with deep experience across diverse sectors, we combine legal precision with commercial understanding. Our clients value our clarity and pragmatism – and our ability to tailor advice to the realities of their business.

Every commercial decision carries risk and opportunity in equal measure. Our role is to bring clarity to both. The guidance we provide gives you the confidence to move forward with purpose.

A joined-up view

Strong commercial advice depends on perspective. We take the time to understand each client’s strategy, market and operational priorities before shaping solutions that support their long-term objectives. Working collaboratively across our corporate, intellectual property and regulatory teams, we deliver integrated advice that reflects both opportunity and risk.

What we do best

Our work spans the full spectrum of commercial activity – from early-stage partnerships to complex international frameworks:

  • Licensing – Software, pharmaceutical and telecoms licensing, including SaaS delivery models, technology supply to government bodies, and FRAND licensing for Standard Essential Patents.
  • Research & Development – IP assignment for research collaborations between consultants, businesses and academic institutions, with strategies for commercial exploitation and publication compliance.
  • Supply & Manufacture – Domestic and international agreements that safeguard intellectual property while balancing supplier and client interests.
  • Distribution – Structuring global or limited-territory arrangements in line with competition law.
  • Data Privacy – Advising on data protection compliance, processor/controller agreements, online marketing rules and Data Subject Access Requests.
  • Domain Names – Recovering or transferring domain names through legal proceedings or negotiated resolution.
  • Artificial Intelligence – Advising on the responsible use of AI systems, IP compliance and enforcement where AI has been used to infringe rights.
  • Websites & Apps – Drafting GDPR-compliant privacy and cookie policies, and creating standard B2B or B2C terms and conditions.

Quiet strength. Lasting partnerships.

Commercial relationships thrive on trust, understanding and clarity. Our approach is pragmatic and personal – focused on helping our clients anticipate challenges, minimise risk and seize opportunity. We combine commercial acumen with legal precision to achieve outcomes that are both practical and sustainable.

We see every matter as a partnership, built on trust and shared purpose. Whether advising on a single transaction or a long-term collaboration, we act as an extension of our clients’ teams – ensuring that decisions are informed, agreements are robust, and the foundations for growth are secure.

As a certified B Corporation, we are committed to responsible commercial practice – helping businesses grow with integrity, transparency and respect for the people and communities they impact.

Three-dimensional advice

Drawing on our experience across IP, corporate and regulatory law, we provide advice that connects the legal, commercial and operational perspectives of every transaction.

Our focus is not just on the deal at hand, but on the relationships and progress it enables. We anticipate risks, unlock opportunities, and deliver guidance that is as practical as it is precise – giving our clients the confidence to act with clarity.

Collaborative in approach. Committed in purpose. Connected where it matters most.
