Edwin Coe advises on acquisition of leading healthcare manufacturer
Edwin Coe is delighted to have assisted Siparex and the Winncare Group, a leading European manufacturer of medical devices with its head office in Paris, in the recent acquisition of UK company, Herida Healthcare Limited, which develops products intended to enhance the comfort and quality of care for patients. Edwin Coe’s M&A team was led by Alexandre Terrasse (Corporate Partner), working alongside Matthieu Candia (Corporate Partner) at De Pardieu Brocas Maffei (Paris).
The transaction is part of the growth strategy initiated by Siparex (a leading French independent private equity investment company), which took a majority stake in Winncare in 2021 to reinforce its leadership on the European market. Their target, Herida Healthcare is a Leeds based healthcare company, developing and manufacturing mattresses, cushions & various accessories to help treat and prevent pressure injuries in long term care, home settings, acute and residential settings.
