Liz is a partner in the Private Client team, specialising in tax, probate, trusts and estate planning for UK families and non-UK domiciliaries.

She acts for a wide range of clients, including those with inherited wealth, city professionals and lottery winners, and has a particular interest in complex probates, especially those with an international dimension. Liz has developed particular expertise in structuring trusts for the long-term management of death in service benefits and the related inheritance tax issues, and regularly advises on the tax and trust aspects of trust and estate disputes.

Liz acts as trustee of a variety of trusts, including landed estates, bringing both technical expertise and practical experience of stewardship to her advice to trustees and families managing wealth across generations.

Throughout her career, Liz has enjoyed helping individuals and families navigate significant decisions around succession, wealth preservation and long-term planning. Building trusted relationships and supporting clients through changing circumstances is one of the most rewarding aspects of private client work for her.
