ASSOCIATE
Michelle is an Associate in the Corporate team at Edwin Coe LLP. She advises clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, with a focus on private M&A, restructuring and reorganisations, corporate governance, and early-stage investment.

Michelle champions a collaborative culture and champions integrity and professionalism in all aspects of work, advocating for honesty, transparency, and ethical conduct as well as diversity and inclusion, sustainable business practices and working towards making the legal industry more accessible, inclusive, and reflective of the society it serves.

 

Michelle joined Edwin Coe LLP in April 2019. She completed her Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at Kaplan Law School and graduated from Kings College London University with a degree in Geography.

 

Michelle has experience of advising UK and international clients on a variety of corporate and commercial matters and works with private and public companies operating in the financial services, retail, natural resources, healthcare, property and technology sectors.

 

Michelle regularly advises on private company acquisitions and disposals, corporate restructurings and general company law matters.

EXPERIENCE
Michelle’s experience includes:
Advising a well-known hair care brand on a multi-million pound VC Series B investment round led by a consortium of VCs.
Advising a corporate venture capital arm of a global leading company in the construction, building materials industry with regard to its participation in a follow-on funding round in relation to a Series A equity financing of a design technology and construction company.
Acting for a leading company in the lift and escalator industry on its acquisition of a UK lift and escalator company.
Acting for a leading online retail supplier of advanced gardening equipment in relation to a corporate refinancing.
Acting for a family investment company in relation to its share capital reconstruction.
