Joanne McIvor takes up the challenge of The Most Exotic Cycle Challenge – Sri Lanka

Joanne McIvor is embarking on The Most Exotic Challenge 2019, organised by The British Asian Trust, which is taking place from 7-12 November.
In the past 3 years, she has completed similar challenges in Cambodia, India, and Tanzania. This year Joanne and colleagues will be riding through the pearl of the Indian Ocean, travelling over 300 kms, and passing through Sri Lanka’s cultural triangle.
Joanne is cycling to raise funds for The British Asian Trust, which was founded in 2007 by the Prince of Wales to tackle widespread poverty and hardship in South Asia. All funds raised through this challenge will go towards combatting the horrifying problem of child trafficking in South Asia, one of the Trust’s four key areas of focus.
