Edwin Coe plans for the future
Edwin Coe yesterday moved half of its professional staff into No 11 Stone Buildings in Lincoln’s Inn. The move will allow the firm to occupy three adjacent premises within Lincoln’s Inn and retain the office space within 1 and 2 Stone Buildings, which it has occupied for the past 40 years.
No 11 Stone Buildings is a 10% increase in office space and has been fitted out to adopt cutting-edge working practices as part of the firm’s expansion and growth strategy. There will be areas for hot-desking, and a staff café with breakout room.
Nick Giles, Managing Partner at Edwin Coe, said: “We are delighted to have all of our partners, solicitors and support staff together within Lincoln’s Inn after a 10 year absence using our annexe on High Holborn, which we have now vacated. It is important to our brand and staff retention that we remain within the Inn.
It is one of our differentiating factors from our competitors, who might be happier in a steel and glass block elsewhere in Holborn. I think clients identify us with certain buildings in the same way that we identify with Stone Buildings as being part of the DNA of the firm.”
