Simeon Gilchrist appears on the 2025 Pro Bono Recognition List of England & Wales

Edwin Coe is delighted to announce that Simeon Gilchrist has appeared on the newly published Pro Bono Recognition List of England & Wales. The annually published list recognises the work of lawyers who have given 25 or more hours pro bono legal assistance in the previous calendar year.

Simeon led the successful Edwin Coe team in Manolete v White [2024] EWCA Civ 1418, in which the court made a costs order of £85k against Manolete in the charity’s favour. You can read more about the judgment on our website here.

The Pro Bono Recognition List was set up under the aegis of the Attorney General’s Pro Bono Committee, with support from the Access to Justice Foundation, Advocate, Advocates for International Development, International Lawyers Project, the Law Officers, the Bar Council, CILEX, the Clinical Legal Education Organisation, the In-House Pro Bono Group, the Law Society, LawWorks, the National Pro Bono Centre and TrustLaw.
