Simon is a Senior Legal Manager with 40 years’ experience. He manages the Court Services team within the Litigation & Dispute Resolution group, with responsibility for its day-to-day running. He has been with the firm since 1974 and also deals with general common law litigation matters in both the King’s Bench and Chancery Divisions as well as the Supreme Court, the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council and Senior Court Costs office.
Simon also has considerable experience and knowledge of both High Court and County Court procedures and the Civil Procedure Rules. He is an experienced advocate and regularly appears before Masters and Insolvency and Companies Court Judges in the King’s Bench and Business and Property Courts, and District Judges in the London County Courts.
Simon also manages the firm’s Credit Recovery department and has many years’ experience in advising and dealing with contested and uncontested debt collection matters and the various methods for enforcement of judgments.
Apart from advising and assisting clients on legal problems, Simon also provides in-house training and seminars on debt recovery, enforcement and related topics. This ensures there is firm-wide knowledge and understanding of how to deal and act in today’s challenging business world, in order to ensure the right steps are taken to maximise recovery.
