Neil joined the Edwin Coe Property team in November 2021 as a Senior Associate.

He advises both commercial landlords and tenants with a particular expertise in dealing with the acquisition, management and disposal of portfolios of shopping centres and office buildings.  He also work with developers in the acquisition and disposal of development land in both the residential and commercial sector, including dealing with both their acquisition and development funding.

Neil acts on behalf of various banks, lenders and financial institutions in Real Estate Finance and secured lending transactions, and works closely with Edwin Coe’s Banking & Finance team in connection with development finance transactions, including senior and mezzanine loan originations.

 

 

Acting for a private equity fund on the acquisition, management and subsequent sale of a fully let 30 unit shopping centre.

Acting for and reporting on the title to a development funder on the provision of a £32 million development loan facility to be secured over a student accommodation development site with an estimated GDV of £105 million.

Acting on the sale of an office building for £11.5 million, conditional on a change of use planning permission with overage provisions.

Acting for the landlord of a shopping centre in respect of numerous pre-lets (including to the anchor tenant) of a 33,000 square foot extension development, including the drafting and negotiating of complex agreements for lease subject to both landlord construction works and planning permission.

Acting for a debt fund on the refinancing of two hotels located in Kensington and Chelsea with a loan size of £27.5 million.
