Hetal Sanghvi, Partner in our Tax team was invited to comment in an article looking at India as an International Financial Centre. The article examines India’s wealth management market, in particular on topics of immigration options, regulatory/crypto updates, and top-of-mind-trends. Hetal was recently added to the Citywealth Leaders List and has since gained interest from Citywealth in particular for her experience in advising Indian clients.

Talking on relocation for Indian clients to UK, Hetal comments that the main issue “is establishing clean capital (more challenging if they have already triggered tax residency in the UK) and increasing the amount of money that they are legitimately able to take outside of India.”
