Edwin Coe is proud to be participating in this year’s London Legal Walk.

Held in May every year, the London Legal Walk is the biggest of its kind in the UK. Thousands of lawyers walk the 10km course through central London to raise much needed funds for free legal advice organisations. It’s sponsored by the Law Society of England and Wales and organised by the London Legal Support Trust (LLST), a charity established in 2004 to raise funds for specialist free legal advice.

Last year, walkers included the Lord Chief Justice Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, the President of the Supreme Court Lord Neuberger, the Attorney General Dominic Grieve QC and newly elected Mayor of London Sadiq Khan.

LLST Chief Executive Bob Nightingale said: “The funds raised are vital to sustain legal advice centres in and around London.”

This year’s walk will be held on Monday 16 May. Starting at the Royal Courts of Justice, walkers and runners will pack the streets along the Embankment before turning into The Mall and Constitution Hill, then through St James’s Park before taking a turn around the Serpentine and walking back to the Law Society.

The event will culminate in a street party in Carey Street (behind the Royal Courts of Justice) with fire jugglers, stilt walkers, living trees, a samba band and food/drinks stalls.

The team from Edwin Coe is made up of numerous people from across the firm and includes Senior Partner David Greene. For those wishing to sponsor the Edwin Coe team please click here.
