Edwin Coe expands Intellectual Property team with appointment of Christopher Pollard as Legal Director

London, September 17, 2025 – Edwin Coe is delighted to announce the appointment of Christopher Pollard as Legal Director & Barrister to its Intellectual Property team.

Christopher deals with both contentious and non-contentious IP-related matters. He has extensive experience advising across technology, aerospace, automotive, and life science sectors. His practice includes data protection and GDPR compliance, as well as matters involving standard-essential patents and FRAND licensing. He also regularly advises on breach of contract disputes and confidentiality claims.

Christopher joins us from Field Seymour Parkes LLP in Reading where he led their Intellectual Property team, having previously worked at Anderson Law and Freshfields. Christopher’s arrival follows the earlier addition of Partners Dennis Lee and Lakmal Walawage this year, whose complementary skills have added further depth to the firm’s now seven-partner Intellectual Property team.
