George Orman

He advises senior executives and employers across the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. He has a particular speciality for employment disputes (including litigation in the Employment Tribunals or High Court) and senior exits.
George trained at Edwin Coe and has been an employment specialist since qualifying as a solicitor in 2018.
He advises clients across a wide range of sectors including financial services, IT, real estate, media and communications. George has a particular interest in the intersection between regulatory issues (e.g. FCA/PRA for financial services professionals, and the SRA in respect of legal professionals) and employment law.
George’s work includes:
Business Protection: Dealing with issues arising in connection with confidential information, team moves and post termination restrictions.
Discrimination: Advising on the full range of discrimination issues that can arise within a workplace with a particular emphasis on prosecuting or defending disability and sex discrimination issues.
Employment Related Contractual Disputes: Including commission and bonus claims.
Exits: Advising on processes and procedures to best protect a business or prosecuting or defending claims that arise in the Employment Tribunal or High Court.
George delivers a committed and empathetic service to all his clients and always takes time to understand the client’s individual circumstances and needs. He recognises that whether acting for an employer or an individual, it is in his client’s interests to secure the best possible outcome at the earliest stage. With this in mind, he delivers clear and pragmatic advice from the outset, remaining cognisant of commercial objectives to enable clients to make informed decisions in often difficult circumstances.
