Toni is a Senior Associate in our Private Client team and joined Edwin Coe in June 2021. She works closely with individuals, families and trustees, both in the UK and internationally, helping them navigate a wide range of private client matters, from estate and trust planning to UK tax and cross-border estate administration.

Toni has particular experience advising high-net worth international individuals and families and professional trustees in the following areas:

  • International estate planning: Structuring estate plans for individuals and families with an international connection and collaborating with foreign advisers to draft Wills and testamentary documents which are effective across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Cross-border estates: Co-ordinating legal, tax, and administrative matters across borders and supporting executors and trustees in administering estates involving overseas assets and beneficiaries.
  • International trusts: Advising on the use of offshore and onshore trusts for asset protection and estate planning and reviewing and adapting trust documents for compatibility with legislation changes and family circumstances.
  • Inheritance tax planning: Guiding clients through the implications of domicile and residency on inheritance tax exposure and how their estates may benefit from treaty reliefs.

Toni offers clear, practical advice tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and is known for her approachable style and for building long-term relationships with clients and their advisers. She takes pride in helping families protect and preserve their wealth across generations and borders.
