
Neil is a Senior Associate in the Commercial Property department, having qualified in 2016 and then joined Edwin Coe in November 2021. He advises on development, investment, landlord and tenant and real estate finance matters and has particular expertise in dealing with the acquisition, management and disposal of portfolios of office buildings and retail sites.
Neil works with both UK companies and offshore companies, international companies and high-net-worth individuals on a wide range of real estate transactions and he also acts for various banks, lenders and financial institutions on real estate finance and secured lending transactions.
EXPERIENCE
Neil’s experience includes:
Acting for a developer in respect of its acquisition of a listed building site, subject to planning permission for residential apartments, with an estimated GDV in excess of £30 million.
Acting for a joint venture on the acquisition of 6 sites across the UK with the benefit of residential development planning permissions with total acquisition consideration in excess of £80 million.
Acting for an AIM listed REIT on its acquisition of a portfolio of office sites with a value in excess of £20 million.
Acting for an international cosmetics retailer on its property portfolio of retail stores (in excess of 90), industrial sites and office sites in England and Wales.
Acting for a development funder on the provision of a £30 million development loan facility to be secured over a student accommodation development site, with an estimated GDV of £105 million.
Advising a borrower on the financing of a £35 million industrial and commercial property portfolio situated within the M25 belt.
