Lauren is a solicitor in the Intellectual Property department at Edwin Coe.
Lauren joined the firm in September 2022 as a trainee solicitor and qualified as a solicitor in September 2024. As a trainee solicitor, she completed seats in Intellectual Property, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Corporate and Property.
Before joining Edwin Coe, Lauren worked as a research analyst for the legal directory Chambers and Partners.
In her practice, Lauren advises corporations, SMEs, start-ups and individuals on:
- Trade Marks Prosecution and Opposition: Providing advice on trade mark prosecution through to registration, trade mark portfolio management, and opposition actions.
- Intellectual Property Disputes: Assisting on a range of soft IP litigation before the High Court, the Intellectual Property Offices and the County Court.
- Online and social media issues: Formulating brand protection strategies with clients for social media platforms and advising on trade mark infringement and copyright infringement takedown actions.
- Transactional Support: Supporting corporate transactions (M&A) with IP and data protection due diligence.

Lauren’s experience includes:
easyGroup v Easy Live (Services) Limited & Ors [2024] EWHC 2282 (ChD); [2025] EWCA Civ 946 – successful appeal establishing ‘EASYLIFE’ and ‘EASY LIVE’ are confusingly similar.
EasyGroup v Easyfundraising Limited & Ors [2024] EWHC 3210 (ChD) – trade mark infringement case involving a family of brands.
Advised a multinational technology company on a global trade mark dispute involving invalidations, revocations, oppositions and court proceedings.
Advised a licensing company on anti-counterfeiting enforcement strategies.
Advised on social media takedown notices for trade mark infringement and copyright infringement for businesses and individuals.
Advised on and drafted a suite of precedent music agreements, including licensing agreements, publishing agreements and artist management agreements.
