Lauren Barlow

Lauren joined the firm in September 2022 as a trainee solicitor and qualified as a solicitor in September 2024. As a trainee solicitor, she completed seats in Intellectual Property, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Corporate and Property.

Before joining Edwin Coe, Lauren worked as a research analyst for the legal directory Chambers and Partners.

In her practice, Lauren advises corporations, SMEs, start-ups and individuals on:

• Trade Marks Prosecution and Opposition: Providing advice on trade mark prosecution through to registration, trade mark portfolio management, and opposition actions.
• Intellectual Property Disputes: Assisting on a range of soft IP litigation before the High Court, the Intellectual Property Offices and the County Court.
• Online and social media issues: Formulating brand protection strategies with clients for social media platforms and advising on trade mark infringement and copyright infringement takedown actions.
• Transactional Support: Supporting corporate transactions (M&A) with IP and data protection due diligence.
