Laura McPhilbin
FORMALITIES CO-ORDINATOR
Laura is a Formalities Coordinator in Edwin Coe’s Intellectual Property team. She brings over a decade of legal experience to the role, with a practical and reliable approach to managing IP formalities.
Working closely with IP offices and foreign associates, Laura supports the trade marks team by filing and managing UK, EU and international applications to keep matters progressing efficiently. She also maintains client portfolios, handling renewals and recording changes of name, address and ownership.
Her long‑standing passion for intellectual property led her to pursue a Law degree at the University of Essex, where she graduated with first‑class honours in 2023, and in the same year she qualified as a CITMA Paralegal.
