Kenny is an Associate in the Intellectual Property team at Edwin Coe. He is a Solicitor with dual qualifications in England & Wales and Hong Kong. He specialises in soft IP matters both contentious and non-contentious, with a focus on brand management, protection and exploitation.

Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Kenny worked at a leading IP practice in Hong Kong and gained extensive experience in the Greater China region.

 

Kenny assists clients across different sectors including retail, cosmetics, fashion, finance, automobile and technology in all aspects of branding and trade mark matters.

 

  • Portfolio Management: Managing trade mark portfolios at UK, European and International levels, developing strategies to identify risks and maximise protection.
  • Brand Protection: Assisting with trade mark clearance and prosecution, registry proceedings, enforcement and anti-counterfeiting in the UK and beyond.
  • IP Commercialisation: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating IP assignments, licensing and collaboration agreements etc. and providing related advisory work.
  • Transactional Support: Supporting IP and Data Protection aspects of corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
