She advises both UK-based and international clients, including companies, directors, and private individuals, across a range of matters:

 

Banking & Financial Disputes: Charlotte has acted in high-value litigation before the Commercial Court and Court of Appeal, involving facility agreements, guarantees, and other financial instruments.

 

Contractual Disputes: She regularly advises on disputes concerning breaches of contract, enforcement of guarantees, and issues arising from variations to financial or business agreements.

 

Class Actions: Charlotte also represents groups of individuals, shareholders, and companies in class actions, helping them pursue collective redress for financial loss.

 

Charlotte brings a clear and practical approach to her work, focusing on delivering well-considered solutions for clients. She was admitted as a solicitor in 2023 and joined Edwin Coe in 2025.

EXPERIENCE
Charlotte’s experience includes:
Acting for Alexander Vik in long-running Commercial Court proceedings against Deutsche Bank AG ("DBAG"). From 2022 to 2024, the case involved DBAG’s committal application against Mr. Vik, his appeal to the Court of Appeal, his successful application to the Commercial Court regarding the expiry of the committal order, and DBAG’s subsequent appeal to the Court of Appeal.
Acting for Alexander Vik in a detailed costs assessment which was referred from the Senior Costs Court to the High Court to address the correct interpretation of section 24(2) of the Limitation Act 1980, as well as the subsequent appeal to the Court of Appeal. The proceedings are understood to be one of the longest-running detailed assessment proceedings in England and Wales resulting in a bill of costs of over £53 million.
Acting for a defendant lender in High Court proceedings concerning the interpretation of the Debt Respite Scheme (Breathing Space Moratorium and Mental Health Crisis Moratorium) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020.
Acting for a defendant in a complex £2 million financial dispute involving multiple variations to a facility agreement, securing a settlement.
Acting for a claimant in a professional negligence claim against their solicitor for negligence, breach of contract, and breach of duty, including acting in a conflict of interest.
Acting for a claimant in a £20 million dispute concerning the liquidation an investment portfolio following an alleged breach of a contractual margin level.
Acting for claimants in proceedings involving the enforceability of an option agreement, dividends on preference shares, and alleged breaches of directors’ duties.
