Alex Duncliffe-Vines
Alex is an Associate in our Commercial Property team.
He advises banks, private capital, onshore and offshore investors, and other market participants on:
- Real Estate Finance: Corporate lending across commercial, retail, land and leisure assets.
- Landlord and Tenant Management: Drafting and negotiating commercial leases, renewal leases, surrenders and re-grants and rent review memorandums.
- Acquisitions: Assisting corporate entities on acquiring commercial real estate assets and providing advice from due diligence to completion.
- Disposals: Handling and managing the sale of commercial real estate assets.
Alex joined Edwin Coe in April 2025.
EXPERIENCE
Alex’s experience includes:
Acted for a FTSE 100 Bank on a £500 million refinancing of a building in Canary Wharf.
Acted for Octopus in a facility of £60 million to finance the acquisition of a potential gigafactory site in Somerset called ‘This is Gravity.’
Acted for a range of institutional banks, challenger banks and private capital on acquisitions and re-financings across a range of asset classes from office, retail, land, residential portfolios, and land.
Acted for a family office on various acquisitions of commercial real estate investment properties between £5m and £15m.
Acted for a range of Landlords and Tenants on lettings, surrenders and lease renewals.
