This seminar discussed a global first (at scale) in IP-backed lending by NatWest, in partnership with Edwin Coe and Inngot. Our speakers were Neil Bellamy (Head of TMT, NatWest), Martin Brassell (Co-Founder, Inngot) and Lakmal Walawage (Partner, Edwin Coe LLP).

The session covered the identification, good management, and commercialisation of IP assets in a way that maximises the value of those assets. This lead into a discussion on valuations of IP assets, the methodologies involved, and the process to access finance leveraged on your IP portfolio. Finally, the session ended with a discussion on the loans, the types of businesses this option of funding is suitable for, and some examples of loans provided to date by NatWest.
