Managing employee long-term ill health issues are always problematic. This seminar will give you a route map for managing ill health and will address the complications that can arise including:

• Who decides whether an employee is disabled for the purposes of the Equality Act 2010? The employee, the employer, the GP or Occupational Health?
• What is a reasonable adjustment for a disabled employee and who decides that?
• What is the impact of an employer offering a permanent health insurance?

The seminar will look at a particular case study to discuss this matter in a ‘real life’ context.
