Tim advises on a broad range of commercial and residential property disputes including: conveyancing claims notably those for misrepresentation and misdescription, claims for breach of contract against developers and landlords of houses and flats, statutory breaches of the Defective Premises Act 1972 in respect of property defect claims; breaches of covenant and enforcing easements, contentious landlord and tenant matters including claims under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954; possession and forfeiture claims; nuisance; rights to light issues and any dispute with a property element.

Tim has particular experience in dealing with claims caused by defective development works, cladding disputes and wider property defect claims against developers, builders, designers of properties and most notably in respect of new build properties. Of late Tim has been advising in numerous claims as to the fire safety of blocks of flats and on the rights of flat owners when a building needs cladding replaced. He is also familiar with claims for remedial works under the terms of new build insurance policies.

He has experience acting for corporations, charities and private individuals.

Tim graduated in 2012 with a degree in History from the University of Nottingham and qualified as a solicitor in September 2017. Tim joined Edwin Coe in July 2018.
