Tim advises on a broad range of commercial and residential property disputes including: Contentious landlord and tenant matters including claims under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954; Possession and forfeiture claims; Nuisance; Rights to light issues; Structural issues and statutory breaches of the Defective Premises Act 1972; Breaches of covenant and enforcing easements.
Tim has considerable experience in dealing with property defect claims against developers, builders, designers of properties and most notably in respect of new build properties. He is also actively engaged in several cases against new build home warranty insurers and is familiar with the devices they employ when faced with a claim. He also advises leaseholders of blocks of flats when confronted with defects on a regular basis.
He has experience acting for corporations, charities and private individuals.
Tim graduated in 2012 with a degree in History from the University of Nottingham and qualified as a solicitor in September 2017. Tim joined Edwin Coe in July 2018.
