Press Release - 15/04/2016
ITMA granted a Royal Charter
It is with great pleasure we congratulate The Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (ITMA) for yesterday being granted a Royal Charter by Her Majesty The Queen at a meeting of The Privy Council held at Windsor Castle.
At Edwin Coe we have seven members of ITMA, five of whom will be able to use the term “Chartered Trade Mark Attorney”. Indeed, two of those Attorneys, Maggie Ramage and Simon Miles are actively involved with ITMA, and sit on the Governing Council.
The Royal Charter will help raise the profile of ITMA and its members considerably, and the new status confers a recognition that our members offer excellence in the trade mark and designs profession.
