Edwin Coe is delighted to announce that IP expert Nick Phillips will be delivering a training session on the Uber and Enterprise Nation: ‘Empowering Journeys’ course. Entitled ‘’What’s the idea?’, he will look at how to protect your business ideas, branding, and indeed all those important legal issues around intellectual property. “Protecting your IP from others profiting from your ideas from when you start your business can help your new enterprise thrive and will help you attract investors,” comments Nick.

Nick is a Partner at Edwin Coe and has considerable experience in advising businesses on the protection, exploitation and enforcement of the full range of their intellectual property rights. He also regularly advises on a range of GDPR/privacy, e-commerce, domain name, and internet related issues as well as on a wide variety of IT contracts.

Together with Enterprise Nation, Uber has launched three new initiatives to empower drivers, couriers, and restaurants as well as new food entrepreneurs.  In addition to a series of training sessions and a start-up grant, applicants will be offered 12 months’ free access to business start-up support and advice.

Uber’s partner, Enterprise Nation is a community of small businesses and business advisers that exists to shortcut the route to trusted business support.
