Edwin Coe is delighted to announce that Construction partner Stuart Nash will be speaking at the Hill International Masterclass on 3 and 4 November 2014. The event is being held at the Dubai H-Hotel and will examine Bonds and Insurance in the Construction industry.

The first day will focus on bonds and insurance, looking at the various risks and issues presented by these two critical areas of construction in the GCC and Middle East generally.

Day two is a half-day workshop focusing on the comparison and challenges of working with standard form contracts. It will include a look at the FIDIC, the NEC3 and the newly released CIOB Complex Projects Contract.

Stuart will be discussing the different types of bonds and how they work. He will also be discussing performance bonds and letters of credit.

Stuart is dual qualified, US Lawyer and UK Solicitor and specialises in construction law and dispute resolution. He frequently deals with cross border construction disputes and has conducted ICC, LCIA and AAA arbitrations. He often acts for US companies carrying out work in Europe and the Middle East in both the construction and energy sectors. Stuart was a member of the 2002 drafting committee responsible for producing the Society of Construction Law, Delay and Disruption Protocol.
