Edwin Coe is delighted to be hosting the “Mosaic Connects London” event at its offices on Thursday 21 January 2016.

“Mosaic Connect: London and the South East”, is a regional networking and celebration event aimed at bringing together and connecting the various people that make their mentoring such a success.

Founded by HRH The Prince of Wales in 2007, Mosaic’s mentoring programmes create opportunities for young people growing up in deprived communities. Mosaic’s vision is for all young people to be supported to realise their potential.

Edwin Coe partner Ali Zaidi, who is Vice Chairman of the London Executive Committee of Mosaic, commented:

“Edwin Coe is extremely proud to continue its relationship with Mosaic and support this event. Mosaic plays an important part in guiding and teaching young people in today’s society.”

With the help of volunteer mentors acting as role models, they aim to bridge the aspirations-attainment gap. By linking young people with inspirational role models in this way, Mosaic boost their confidence, self-efficacy and long-term employability.

Ofsted has recognised Mosaic in the recently published Department of Education’s statutory guidance on careers advice.
