Hotel & Leisure Practice

Our multi-disciplinary practice provides a one-stop service to clients in the hotel and leisure industry. We act for clients based in the UK and internationally, and are able to draw upon substantial experience in this field to manage clients’ risk and to ensure that they achieve their goals in a cost-effective and timely manner. We undertake a wide variety of work. Our services include the following:

• Property: Advising on acquisitions and disposals, hotel acquisitions as investments, site developments and leases;
• Financing: Structuring the necessary financing and securitisation for hotel and leisure related projects;
• Corporate: Hotel acquisitions and disposals, whether as asset or share sales;
• Commercial: Advising on operator and management agreements, marketing and technical services agreements, and all areas of commercial law;
• Restructuring: Dealing with all aspects of bankruptcy, administrations, liquidations and company restructuring;
• Employment: Advising owners and operators on employment aspects of sales, purchases and restructures, including compliance with TUPE regulations, consultation rights and a full advisory and representation service on employment disputes; and
• Litigation: Handling a wide range of commercial disputes from contractual and supplier disputes, to fraud, property disputes and management and shareholder disagreements.

We also advise on other related areas such as tax structuring and environmental law.
