EDWIN COE LLP CONTINUES EXPANSION OF ITS CORPORATE GROUP

Nick Williams, Partner

Edwin Coe has boosted its corporate team with the addition of Nick Williams who joined the firm as a partner on 4 January 2010. Prior to joining Edwin Coe, Nick was a partner at the London office of Hammonds LLP.

Nick provides a wide range of corporate advice. His clients include listed and private companies based in the UK and overseas and corporate advisory firms. Nick has particular expertise in advising on international transactions and structures, AIM flotations and fundraisings.

Edwin Coe's head of corporate, Russel Shear, said, "Nick is a welcome addition to our expanding corporate team. He brings significant experience to our M&A and capital markets practice and complements our corporate services to clients."

Expansion of Edwin Coe’s corporate group follows a year in which the firm recruited six new partners, including two other new corporate partners (Andrew Bretherton joined the firm in June last year, and Simon Miles joined as IP partner in February ’09). Edwin Coe achieved a growth rate of over 6% last year, making it one of the fastest growing law firms in 2009.
